I found this little small town newspaper lying around the house the other day. The headline screamed, ‘Race Relations in Oregon: From Ugliness to Possible Redemption.’ This drivel that some liberal calling herself, Barbara Cervone apparently vomited up from the deepest bowels of her liberal indoctrination is three page long So I will be editing some of it out and paraphrasing her thoughts at points, not because I want to hide any sensible statements from her (if I find any), but just to make this exposure to her disease of liberalism little less hard on you. Still, it’s going to be pretty long and I’d suggest a cold beverage and a snack before you proceed. Or maybe a gun so you can blow your brains out at the sheer stupidity of these people.

[Editor’s Note: We received this article from freelance writer Barbara Cervone last week, and in the light of the George Floyd episode in Minneapolis and the two-week long protest [read RIOTS] that took place worldwide, we thought it was appropriate.
Of course you did. Every white liberal in Oregon is virtue signaling with ‘Black Lives Matter’ signs in their yard, and your pathetic little newspaper wants to point out how “woke” you are. But what you’ve really done here is awakened everyone to your own stupidity as we shall see.
“Many in progressive, blue state Oregon forget that the early days of this state were extremely racist.
Here we see a not-so subtle attempt at calling conservatives racists. Oregon is ‘progressive’ and ‘blue.’ Blue by a narrow margin and only because of liberal enclaves like Portland who’s massive numbers dominate the rest of what is largely a conservative state. And it also states that progressive [read communists] can’t be racist. This is funny. For example, when I first moved here from The People’s Republic of California, I went got a job and met a ‘progressive,’ dyed in the wool Hillary voting, woman co-worker. She spewed the usual hate towards Trump and all conservatives. That was to be expected. But a curious thing happened one day.
Liberals say they are not racist. I don’t think I’ve actually MET one that was as ‘progressive’ as this one. Yet one day someone came into the store where we worked shouting that his car had been hit in the parking lot and fled the scene. The ‘progressive’ woman turned to me and whispered, “I bet I know who it was. There was an Asian couple in here about ten minutes ago. Everyone knows they don’t know how to drive. Some stereotypes become stereotypes because they’re true!”
How in the blue fuck is this possible?!? A PROGRESSIVE spewing RACISM?!?! Yet I swear on a stack of Bible’s and my life that this really happened. So the lesson here, Mr. or Mrs. or They, or whatever gender you claim, is that racism is not only a conservative thing. It is everywhere. It occurs in all walks of life regardless of their political stance. I could even go so far as to say that Whites are now the targets of racism. But I know I can’t say that because you’ve come up with an insane theory that minorities can’t be racist. I don’t want to get into that here, but look it up. I know most of you know what I’m talking about, but if you don’t there’s a lot of rubbish on that fairy tale.
The article continues that the Oregon has made progress towards racial equality but still has ‘work to do.’ Then it mentions that the riots over ‘Mr. Floyd’s death might make Oregon truly equal for all races.’

In the seven years I’ve lived here I’ve not heard of one case locally (Southern Oregon) of racially motivated crimes, let alone police shootings of blacks. As per normal, one recently occurred because, as blacks are often known to do, except this was a WHITE man that fled, then shot at officers who promptly dispatched him. See it here.
If I was his family I’d be inciting riots, everybody, and burning down my neighbor hood! Where was my so-called WHITE PRIVILEGE?!?!
Before that one, the last one I can recall is the Eagle Point police shooting an unarmed . . . WHITE man. Watch this one:
Where were the riots? I guess he didn’t get that White Privilege Juice Card either. Where do you apply for one? I’d sure like to own one.
Anyway . . . next this article goes all the way back to 1844 and cites that Oregon had something called ‘the lash law.’ Basically Blacks attempting to enter Oregon would be whipped 39 times every six months until they left. But why in the world mention that? Because the author continues that, “There is no record of any official whipping – the law was written with a grace period, and it was repealed before it expired.” In other words, ‘Nothing to see here, move along.”
Babs continues, “In 1849, the Oregon Territorial Government adopted a second Black exclusion law, which was repealed in 1853.” Yet again, what’s the problem? And by the way, shit for brains, THIS WAS IN the 1800’s, you moron! This is NOT happening today!
Then she sites some 1850’s bullshit, and concludes that it wasn’t that anyone was whipped, etc., it just made Blacks feel unwelcome. So they went elsewhere. And does she not note the dates of all these laws precede the Emancipation Proclamation? Life was different then, Babs. Get your head out of the past and out of your ass.
And so she goes on with things that happened many years before we were born.
Now she moves on to the Roaring ’20s, because it was then that “Oregon became Klu [SIC] Klux Klan territory.” Notice how she can’t even spell it correctly. Some historian she is. I’m not going to defend the KKK because I don’t like them. Not a fan of the Klan. But here’s what they did.
In the 20’s “the Oregon chapter of the KKK became the largest west of the Mississippi River (although the Black Oregonians countered with the first NAACP west of the Mississippi). She then proceeds to regale us with the ominous images of KKK members holding rallies and marching through Oregon towns. And I’m not going to argue that point, because they did. Here’s a parade in Portland:
But what I will argue, is that once again, this was 100 years ago! And if you take a look at Portland now, does it look anything like this? Hardly.
Then Babs goes on to attack Oregon’s newspaper, “The Oregonian” because its film critic gave it a glowing review. So since whoever wrote that review is most likely dead, why don’t you go pounce on your liberal substitute toilet paper, “The New Yorker?” After all, in 2013 they said The Worst Thing About “Birth of a Nation” Is How Good It Is.
Then she squeals how Klansmen won elections throughout the state, how the construction of the transcontinental railroad brought Black to Oregon, and in the 40’s established their own enclave called Albania.
Then in the 50’s Oregon passed a “fair-employment act favoring Blacks.” Which, of course means that unqualified Blacks are hired before qualified whites. Yeah, that’s race equality, right?
And we now move into the inevitable “White Nationalist” thing. Babs starts it with “While police brutality against Black men may lurk in the shadows in Oregon [because there isn’t any], violent attacks by white nationalists pose the darkest threat.”
Citing that the Oregon prison system, which is primarily filled with white inmates because there aren’t many blacks here . . . but wait! Isn’t that anathema to what liberals always whine about? “Blacks are disproportionately imprisoned than whites!” Well, I guess not here in “racist Oregon.” So that old chestnut is now cracked.
But she says that White supremacist prison gangs are “recruiting” Whites who never any racist views to join them. Well, yeah. This happens in all correctional institutions. And Blacks are doing it too, you poor naive soul. It’s all about new inmates being scared, seeking protection, and finding it by affiliating with these gangs. And like I said, it happens EVERYWHERE. For instance, the Aryan Brotherhood was created in San Quentin to protect the out-numbered whites, and primarily to combat the Black racist prison gang ‘The Black Guerilla Family.”
And as far as this being “the darkest threat,” she cites two murders that occurred in 2018. Two. Is that all you’ve got?
Then she states that the FAR-left “Award winning Intercept” ran an article titled ‘Riotlandia: Why Portland Has Become the Epicenter of Far-Right Violence.”
Shit. They won an award. How am I to counter that? WAIT! I won an award too! Behold the Coveted Hockey Baby!
So, now that I can legitimatize myself with an award, shouldn’t that article have been titled, “Riotlandia: Why Portland Has Become the Epicenter of Pantifa Caused Violence?” Every encounter I’ve ever read about is these “far-right” people showing up and then Pantifa arrives uninvited and starts throwing things, etc., and sets it all off.
And then there’s this from the Portland Police Bureau regarding gun crime in Portland. “the suspects and victims are, we say people that are impacted by homicides directly, are about 48% Caucasian, 38% African American. And when it comes to injury shootings where people didn’t actually die, the people directly impacted are about 51% African American, 39% Caucasian. We know here in Portland that the African American population makes up about 5.7% of the overall population.” WOW! Does that tell you anything about how much “Black Lives Matter?” To Blacks, they’re not worth a whole hell of a lot, I guess.
Then she complains that “few of the 435 hospital staff members and none of the 150 physicians at Ashland Community Hospital are Black. How few? And could that be reflective, as she stated before, of the lack of Blacks hereabouts? And perhaps none that have sought employment there were qualified. And by the way, Ashland is about as liberal as cities can be. Is she saying these liberals are racist?
FINALLY, she praises the Oregon Shakespeare Festival that “45 percent of the 77-actor troupe are people of color.”We are American theater. and therefore, we to represent the face of America.”
Ok . . . douche. Shakespeare was not an American! I know you do other crappy plays too, but it’s the SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL and you routinely destroy his plays by inserting gay and Black characters into them. AND BY THE WAY, THE FACE OF AMERICA IS NOT 45% BLACK!
I’m done. I’ve just had it with all this bullshit.
