The Democrat party is so two-faced. They scream loudly when a Conservative or Republican is involved in wrongdoing. Something as innocuous as saying “All lives matter” means the loss of a job, perhaps the end of a career. In the event of an egregious act, fellow Republicans often insist that the accused step down.
But let a Liberal or Democrat be found out for engaging in some despicable behavior and all is forgiven.

For instance, Virginia’s Governor Northram was found to have posed in blackface, his Lieutenant Governor faced several accusations of sexual misconduct during the height of the MeToo movement, and his State Attorney General also admitted to wearing blackface. They all still serve their office “in good standing”. They never even had to face the music or sincerely apologize.

Now another Democrat has been caught. Tennessee state senator, Sen. Katrina Robinson, was charged with stealing federal funds.

A criminal complaint unsealed Wednesday charges state Sen. Katrina Robinson with theft and embezzlement involving government programs and wire fraud, U.S. Attorney D. Michael Dunavant said in a news release. Robinson has been charged with stealing federal funds that were received by a health care company she directed.

Robinson is a Democrat and was elected to the General Assembly in 2018 from a Memphis district.
She is also the director of The Healthcare Institute in Memphis. The Healthcare Institute was founded in January 2015. Its certified nursing assistant program was introduced that July. That program focused on geriatric populations and educational programs. The school also includes phlebotomy and electrocardiographic technician instruction.

The school received more than $2.2 million in federal grants from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. From 2015 through 2019, Robinson stole more than $600,000 of that grant money.

QUEEN BEE
The Senator used federal funds to finance a lavish lifestyle. Here is the list so far. The money was used to pay for:
- her wedding
- a party for her wedding
- her honeymoon
- later, legal fees for her divorce
- a $500 Louis Vuitton handbag
- her daughter’s 2016 Jeep Renegade
- home improvements
- investing in a snow cone business run by her children
- travel and entertainment for her family
- a trip to Jamaica
- an event for her state Senate campaign
- thousands on credit card payments
- payments on store charge cards
- student loans
- personal loans
- clothing and accessories
- hair and beauty supplies
- $4,700 on makeup
- improvements to her body aesthetics business
- a wrought iron front door valued at more than $5,000
- video services
- In addition, over a four-year period, Robinson paid herself $169,134 more than she was allowed to under salary amounts permitted by the federal grant, the affidavit said.

Despite the charges, she said she will continue to serve in the state legislature “with the same integrity, the same passion that I’ve demonstrated since you’ve elected me to this office.”

“It is believed that if I were not in the position that I’m in, that if I did not champion the voices, the views and the faces that I represent, that I would not be in this moment right now,” Robinson said.
(In other words, ‘I have been anointed for this work’. Ed. note)
The Senate Democratic Caucus issued the following statement: “It’s clear that Sen. Robinson’s work in the state legislature on behalf of her constituents is not in question here today. Just like every other American, Sen. Robinson deserves the presumption of innocence and due process under the law. Her case should be resolved by a court of law, not by the court of public opinion.”
