EMBARRASING JOB NUMBERS

The U.S. jobs numbers were released on Friday, and the numbers are an embarrassment to the administration. No no, not the Trump/Pence administration. Its an embarrassment to the Obama/Biden administration.

“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” Biden said. “I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

The numbers came out showing that the US added nearly 2 million jobs during the month of July and the unemployment rate decreased to 10%. Though 10% unemployment would be high in normal times, these are hardly normal times.

Included in these numbers from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics a report showed that there are now more than 159.870 million people working in America. What makes this number so amazing it that when Obama/Biden left office the number of employed Americans was 159.767 million. That’s 103,000 more Americans with jobs!

As for the 10% unemployment number, here is what The Bureau of Labor Statistics says:

People are classified as unemployed if they do not have a job, have actively looked for work in the prior 4 weeks, and are currently available for work. Actively looking for work may consist of any of the following activities:

• Contacting:

  • An employer directly or having a job interview
  • A public or private employment agency
  • Friends or relatives
  • A school or university employment center

• Submitting resumes or filling out applications

• Placing or answering job advertisements

• Checking union or professional registers

• Some other means of active job search

As the various states begin to ease their lockdowns, people begin to actively look for work again, and they are added to the number of unemployed. This causes a skewed unemployment number, with an artificially high percentage. i.e., If no additional Americans started looking for jobs, the unemployment number would be steadily falling. More people starting to look for jobs are added to the number of unemployed. Trump got the number of unemployed down to less than 4% before The China Biological Weapon Attack. There was hardly anyone left looking for work. Statistically, there will always be a handful of people looking for work that no one wants to hire.

“ARE YOU HIRING?”

AHHHH…NO

So a number less than 4% means virtually everyone willing and able to work has a job.

Bottom line? Even after all of the attempts of China and the Democrats to ruin Trump’s economy, the Trump/Pence team eclipses Obama/Biden and is Making America Great Again!
