And the Democrats just couldn’t ‘let the crisis go to waste’.
Former White House Chief of Staff and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel famously said: “Never let a good crisis go to waste.”
Those Democrats, they’re so compassionate. They use the death and funeral of their friends and colleagues as political hammers.
First, Joe Biden chimed in. Or rather, his handlers told him what to say. Joe seems to have been able to utter the one sentence OK. “There is no doubt, let me be clear, that the voters should pick the president and the president should pick the justice for the Senate to consider.”
Also, “this was the position the Republican Senate took in 2016, when there were nearly 9 months before the election. That is the position the United States Senate must take now, when the election is less than two months away. We are talking about the Constitution and the Supreme Court. That institution should not be subject to politics“, Biden said in a political statement.
Next, Hillary twatted her 2¢ worth. “Justice Ginsburg paved the way for so many women, including me,” Clinton wrote. That’s certainly not praiseworthy. Clinton should be in prison. “There will never be another like her.” Well, there are unfortunately plenty like her. There are still two of them on the SCOTUS. As a matter of fact, Hillary’s name has been tossed out there as a possible Justice. Scary.
A REAL HAGFEST
Strict Constitutionalist Chuck Schumer had this to say, “The American people should have a voice in the selection of their next Supreme Court Justice. Therefore, this vacancy should not be filled until we have a new president.” Moot point, we’re not going to have “a new president”.
The Genius freshman “Squad” leader, AOC, also weighed in. “We have lost a giant in the history of our nation with the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Let this moment radicalize you,” Ocasio-Cortez, a New York Democrat, said in a 40-minute Instagram Live video posted late on Friday, which was viewed by more than 1.5 million people within 12 hours.
“AOC added, It is heartbreaking that in her final moments she was, as are many others, preoccupied with what would happen after her passing*. I want to make one thing clear: we can, and must, fight.”
*AOC was referring to reports, according to NPR, that “Just days before her death, as her strength waned, Ginsburg dictated this statement to her granddaughter Clara Spera: “My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed.” Geez, you’d think she’d have more important matters on her mind while on her death bed.
ABC noted this: “Mourners join in a rendition of “Imagine” by John Lennon as they honor the legacy of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the standard bearer for the court’s liberal wing and a progressive icon.” Their singing well reflects the left’s disharmony and disunity. The lyrics reflects their idea of Utopia.

The coming weeks will be a mix of insanity, violence, demented rhetoric, and bitter attacks. I’m guessing that rioters will attempt to disrupt any Senate hearings (remember them literally clawing at the doors during the Kavanaugh hearings?), votes, etc. having to do with filling Ginsburg’s seat. That is, if RINO senators don’t sink President Trump’s nominee and/or agenda.
