Confucius said: Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves. His meaning was that one who undertakes revenge does so to their own detriment.
With this in mind, Def-Con News readers, I propose we assist President Trump in his efforts, not to seek revenge, rather to seek the betterment of the Republican party. The efforts of President Trump in concert with our efforts will not become a detriment to the President or ourselves, rather the Republican party will be brought to a higher standard.
If President Trump is even partly successful, the memory of his actions will live long, and Republicans elected to Congress will, in the future, be much less apt to betray a fellow Republican–a Republican, in this case, who has worked hard for them, the Republican party, and the United States.
President Donald Trump is planning to campaign against 10 House Republicans that are pro-impeachment, according to six sources cited by Business Insider and reported on The Liberty Daily.
Again, let us please, Def-Con News readers, assist President Trump with his efforts to better the Republican party by spreading far and wide the names of the 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach the President last month.
“I’m sure he wants to get out a roulette wheel with all their faces on it,” one of the sources said.
The 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach President Trump in January 2021 were:
- Jaime Herrera Beutler (WA)
- Liz Cheney (WY)
- Anthony Gonzalez (OH)
- John Katko (NY)
- Adam Kinzinger (IL)
- Peter Meijer (MI)
- Dan Newhouse (WA)
- Tom Rice (SC)
- Fred Upton (MI)
- David Valadao (CA)
Sources also say Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) could be a target for President Trump. Her attempt for reelection will also be in November 2022.
“On the day of the riots, President Trump’s words incited violence,” Murkowski said in January. “Such unlawful actions cannot go without consequence and the House has responded swiftly, and I believe, appropriately, with impeachment.”
Also, last month, President Trump encouraged South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem to campaign against Republican Sen. John Thune (R-SD) in the 2022 primaries. Thune opposed Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election result.
Is this seeking to obtain revenge? Logically speaking, No. President Trump is striving to better the Republican party. And how better of a lesson to provide for Republican lawmakers than for them to witness those who have been unfaithful lose their jobs? By way of this lesson, certainly the Republican party will be encouraged to stand together.
Benjamin Franklin may have said this best, when at the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 he said, “We must hang together, or, most assuredly, we shall hang separately.”
What say you Def-Con News readers? Are you able and willing, perhaps if only in a minor way, to help President Trump broadcast the names of the above-listed unfaithful?
