Nancy Pelosi Directs Capitol Hill Security Police Units to Regional Offices in California and Florida, Future Locations Coming
Via The Conservative Treehouse
In a remarkable display of how committed the Democrat party is to utilizing the narrative of domestic extremism for their own benefit, Nancy Pelosi is placing satellite field offices for the DC Capitol Police in key regions around the country. When we consider the FBI has field offices all over the country, you might ask: why does the Capitol Hill police need to expand beyond Washington DC?
Essentially, what Nancy Pelosi is doing is expanding the federal law enforcement mechanism of the legislative branch into specific areas where they can investigate political opposition armed with legal authority.
This is a concerning shift in events; however, there is a likelihood such a move is connected to the larger political goal of enhanced federal enforcement to quell any rebellion, while working in concert with the DOJ.
WASHINGTON — The U.S. Capitol Police on Tuesday announced that the agency was opening regional field offices in California and Florida to investigate threats to members of Congress in the wake of the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.
Threats against members of Congress have increased in recent years. As of Tuesday, total threats so far in 2021 were double what they were at this point a year ago, according to Capitol Police.
[…] “At this time, Florida and California are where the majority of our potential threats are,” a department spokesperson said in a statement. “The field offices will be the first for the Department. A regional approach to investigating and prosecuting threats against Members is important, so we will be working closely with the U.S. Attorney’s Offices in those locations.”
A spokesperson did not answer questions Tuesday about how many staff would be hired or what the cost to taxpayers would be. The spokesperson said other regional offices were expected. (read more)
[Emphasis above, mine.] See this for what it is without getting too granular on the specifics. A federal political agency will now coordinate with federal U.S. Attorney’s on specific targeting operations. In essence, the Florida and California offices of Pelosi’s police will direct the DOJ on who and where to target. This is completely political.
There’s no legislative or constitutional process of a subsidiary law enforcement agency to exist. This is a new construction outside the boundaries of the legislative branch and quasi-constitutional from the framework of the executive branch. Essentially satellite DC police units.
State Governors need to respond to this action with direct and specific inquiries into what authorities “guide” these offices? What federal legislative authority creates them? The New York Police Department cannot set up a field office in Atlanta, Georgia, or Dallas, Texas; there is no jurisdictional authority that would permit it. So how can the DC police department operate field offices in states outside Washington DC jurisdiction?
What this appears to be is a quasi-legal investigative agency run out of DC. I would be very curious to see the legal authority they would cite to support the operation(s). MORE.
Vanessa Williams performing the de facto Black National Anthem in honor of Juneteenth on the Forth of July punctuated the fact that Juneteenth marks the death of the old American nation and the birth of a new one. My latest column for @ChroniclesMag. https://t.co/XVUTXbDx1x

The Meaning of Juneteenth
Via Chronicles
Replacing Independence Day, the Juneteenth holiday marks the death of the old American nation and the birth of a new one.
Another holiday overshadowed Independence Day this year. Black Independence Day, also known as “Juneteenth,” took center stage at PBS’s annual televised Fourth of July celebration, as singer Vanessa Williams performed “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” the de facto Black National Anthem.
“It’s in celebration of the wonderful opportunity that we now have to celebrate Juneteenth,” she told the press while promoting the PBS show, in which the 19th overshadowed the fourth throughout.
Juneteenth, in truth, marks the death of the old American nation and the birth of a new one, clawing out from the chest of the Republic in a nightmarish vision that would make Ridley Scott squirm.
The new holiday emerged from the mists of June with feeble opposition from Republicans, who spent months railing about the evils of anti-white critical race theory and the New York Times’ “1619 Project,” only to turn around and inaugurate a national holiday to honor and validate the basic narrative underlying those things.
Just 14 Republicans voted against federalizing the holiday. It didn’t matter to the GOP that a paltry 7 percent of Republican voters wanted it as a new holiday and that more than 60 percent of Americans know “nothing at all” or only “a little bit” about Juneteenth—though that will surely change now. Nationwide, just 35 percent of adults agreed Juneteenth should be a federal holiday, even after months of sustained propagandizing against the backdrop of last year’s riots.
The GOP’s most opportunistic characters were the swiftest to pledge allegiance while dismissing and even browbeating those opposed. South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, fresh off vetoing a bill that would have limited transgender participation in women’s sports, hailed Juneteenth as honoring Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address. House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy declared every June 19 from now on “is about … the ongoing pursuit of building a more perfect union.” Former Vice President Mike Pence along with Republican Sens. Roger Wicker, Rand Paul, and John Cornyn also praised the holiday in tweets containing Juneteenth hashtags.
Prominent conservative think tank leaders also jumped on board. On the eve of the holiday, Kay James, president of the Heritage Foundation, took shots at critics of the holiday. Former Trump White House deputy advisor Ja’Ron Smith said that Juneteenth was a victory, but “the work is still out there, culturally, to change our country.” Smith represents the America First Policy Institute, the official think tank of Donald Trump.
The only thing more absurd than GOP virtue signaling was the sight of women twerking atop ambulances as medical technicians attempted to access the scene of a shooting amid Juneteenth festivities in Oakland, California. One was killed, and seven were wounded as a crowd of a thousand danced like dervishes for what the opinion page of British left-wing daily newspaper The Guardian called “the real Independence Day.”
The sentiment from the establishment right in America was just as reverent, with neoconservative pundit Jonah Goldberg calling Juneteenth the “American Passover.” “If you honestly think that Juneteenth will supplant the Fourth of July as ‘Independence Day,’ I have good news: You’re wrong,” Goldberg snarks.
Near the publication of Goldberg’s article, it was reported that Evanston, Illinois, had approved Juneteenth festivities and LGBTQ pride parades this year but opted to cancel its Independence Day events. And, the day before Goldberg scribbled down his happy thoughts, Singer Macy Gray declared that a new national flag is required to honor the new independence day. Of the Stars and Stripes, she wrote, “Like the Confederate, it is tattered, dated, divisive, and incorrect. It no longer represents democracy and freedom. It no longer represents ALL of us. It’s not fair to be forced to honor it.”
Through political stupidity, the GOP and its stooges have allowed the poisoning of America’s cultural waters, claiming good intentions and calling for calm witnesses to our national slaughter. But the people clawing down Independence Day and hoisting Juneteenth as its replacement were quite honest about the true meaning of the new holiday. MORE.
Here is the full story on Raytheon's critical race theory training program:https://t.co/UKeTmVneuF

The Woke Defense Contractor
By Christopher F. Rufo/City Journal
Raytheon adopts critical race theory and tells employees to acknowledge their “privilege.”
Raytheon Technologies Corporation, the nation’s second-largest defense contractor, has launched an “anti-racism” program that promotes critical race theory, rejects the principle of “equality,” and instructs employees to “identify [their] privilege”—or else.
Beginning last summer, the program, called Stronger Together, encourages employees to “becom[e] an anti-racist today.” Raytheon CEO Greg Hayes supported the campaign by signing an Action for Diversity & Inclusion statement, promising to “promote diversity” and “cultivate meaningful change for our society,” then asking all Raytheon employees to sign the pledge and “check [their] own biases.”
Beneath the platitudinous public statements, however, the Stronger Together program relies heavily on critical race theory and manipulative pedagogical techniques.
According to documents and videos I have obtained from a corporate whistleblower, the program begins with lessons on “intersectionality,” a core component of critical race theory. Intersectionality maintains that the world can be divided into competing identity groups, with race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and other categories defining an individual’s place within the hierarchy of oppression.
In a workshop entitled “Developing Intersectional Allyship in the Workplace,” diversity trainer Rebecca York explained to Raytheon employees that critical race theorist Kimberlé Crenshaw developed the concept of intersectionality to expose “interlocking systems of oppression” and “break down power into privilege and marginalization.”
In a related lesson, Raytheon asks white employees to deconstruct their identities and “identify [their] privilege.” The company argues that white, straight, Christian, able-bodied, English-speaking men are at the top of the intersectional hierarchy—and must work on “recognizing [their] privilege” and “step aside” in favor of other identity groups. According to outside diversity consultant Michelle Saahene, whites “have the privilege of individuality,” while minorities “don’t have that privilege.”
The program then tells white employees to adopt a new set of rules for interacting with their minority colleagues. Employees should “identify everyone’s race” during conversations, “including those who are White.” According to the document, white employees must “listen to the experiences” of “marginalized identities” and should “give [those with such identities] the floor in meetings or on calls, even if it means silencing yourself to do so.” This process of voluntary racial silence is a “win-win,” because “you learn more when you listen than when you speak.”
Next, in a chart titled “What Not to Say to Your Black Colleagues Right Now,” Raytheon instructs white employees never to say that they “pray things change soon” or hope that social tensions “calm down,” which “says [their] comfort is more important than the message of anti-racism.” Whites should acknowledge that their own discomfort is only “a fraction” of the emotional distress of black employees, who are “exhausted, mentally drained, frustrated, stressed, barely sleeping, scared and overwhelmed.”
Raytheon executives have also segregated employees by race and identity into Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) for black, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, LGBTQ, and other categories. The goal of these groups is ostensibly to “advance an inclusive culture,” but in practice, such “affinity groups” often serve to create division and suspicion in the workplace. MORE.

Is The Entire Democratic Party Compromised By China?
Via The Federalist
From corporate donors to Biden family investments to a Chinese spy compromising a sensitive intelligence position, the Democrat Party is clearly in bed with America’s top adversary
House Democrats shot down a GOP motion earlier this month that sought to bar corporate cooperation with Chinese slave labor.
The Motion to Recommit proposed by Kentucky Republican Rep. Andy Barr amending a Democrat bill on corporate disclosure would have required businesses to report to the Treasury Department if they discover a supplier or other business partner was found using forced labor.
Two-hundred and seventeen Democrats rejected the measure and the amendment failed. A look at their corporate donors might reveal why.
Slave Labor Profits to Campaign Coffers
In March last year, the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) published a report credibly accusing 82 major brands of profiting, either directly or indirectly, from Chinese slave labor by minority Uyghur workers from the northern Xinjiang province. According to the report, investigators estimate more than 80,000 Uyghurs were taken from their native provinces to work in factories across China between 2017 and 2019, with thousands more sent straight to concentration camps.
Using open-source Chinese-language documents, satellite imagery, academic research, and on-the-ground reporting, ASPI linked 82 brands with forced labor operations among 27 factories across nine Chinese provinces. A Federalist analysis drawing on financial disclosure reports published in OpenSecrets found at least 44 of the 80 companies named made U.S. campaign contributions in last year’s election cycle.
A vast majority went to Democrats, who raked in three-quarters of all federal donations from companies credibly accused of harnessing Chinese slave labor, while less than 12 percent flowed to Republicans. Of the nearly $40 million that went to congressional candidates between the two major parties, Democrats took home more than 85 percent, as opposed to Republicans, who received less than 15.
Meanwhile, 39 out of the 42 companies that made donations gave more than half to Democrats, with nearly a dozen skyrocketing contributions in last fall’s contest compared to previous cycles. Apple and Nike, for example, which deployed high-powered Washington lobbyists to fight the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act barring importing products from Chinese slave labor, each spiked their donations to Democrats by more than 400 percent in a year Republicans embraced a tough stance on China. U.S. billionaire investor Charlie Munger, vice chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, praised China’s communist regime for its silencing of Alibaba founder Jack Ma.
“Communists did the right thing,” said Munger on what the Chinese regime did to Ma, in an interview with CNBC on June 29.
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST.
pic.twitter.com/39kvjeZucl— INVESTMENT HULK (@INVESTMENTSHULK) July 4, 2021
Munger, a longtime business partner of Warren Buffett, said the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) “just called in Jack Ma” and told him “you aren’t gonna do it, sonny,” pointing out that the Chinese tech billionaire was looking to “wade into banking” and “just do whatever he pleased.”
“I don’t want the, all of the Chinese system, but I certainly would like to have the financial part of it in my own country,” Munger said.
Ma had publicly criticized China’s financial industry in October last year, when he said that Chinese banks had a “pawnshop mentality” and added that the Chinese finance sector “basically doesn’t have a system.” After making the remarks, Ma disappeared, before making his first public appearance in January.
Meanwhile, the Chinese regime launched an antitrust probe against Alibaba in December last year, before slapping a fine of $2.8 billion on it in April for anti-competitive tactics. In response to the fine, Alibaba issued a statement saying the company was “full of gratitude and respect” since it “would not have achieved our growth without sound government regulation and service.”
Alibaba’s affiliate Ant Group has also been targeted. In April, Chinese regulators demanded the fintech group undergo a restructuring overhaul, five months after the company’s $37 billion initial public offering (IPO) in Shanghai and Hong Kong was suspended.
Munger also criticized the U.S. free-market economy.
He explained,
“Our own wonderful free enterprise economy is letting all these crazy people go to this gross excess,” meanwhile the Chinese regime “step[s] in preemptively to stop speculation.”
Additionally, Munger praised China’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, saying that as a totalitarian state, the Chinese regime could “simply shut down the country for six weeks.”
“That turned out to be exactly the right thing to do. And they didn’t allow any contact,” Munger said. MORE.

The man, identified as 45-year-old Edward Cagney Mathews, was reportedly caught on camera calling his black neighbor the N-word and a “monkey” before challenging and taunting onlookers to come to his home.
The Post reported that Mathews gave out his address to the person filming him and suggested they visit him at his home.
“Bring whoever!” Mathews shouted after he told a neighbor to “learn your laws” and that the area is “not Africa.”
“Whoever,” according to the report, included more than 100 protesters who ended up at the man’s residence in the coming days.
“By Monday morning, dozens of protesters had gathered outside Mathews’s door, chanting ‘We want Edward!'” the report noted.
Police showed up at Mathews’ home and began guarding the property as protesters continued to filter in.
By the end of the evening, more than 100 protesters had gathered at his home.
Mathews, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported, emerged at one point during the gathering and delivered an apology to no avail.
“As he faced charges for his behavior in the video, including harassment and biased intimidation, police later escorted Mathews out of his home with his hands behind his back,” the Inquirer added. “Protesters cheered, while some hurled food and water bottles at him. The incident followed more than a year of nationwide protests over the treatment of black people and race relations in the United States.”
One protester told the Inquirer, “He said to pull up. We pulled up. We’re not going to tolerate this anymore.” MORE.
