Smokin!
Democrats and their media allies have become so addicted to their hatred of former President Donald J. Trump that they are scraping the bottom of the barrel for ways to attack him and his loyal supporters.
Having flogged the Hitler horse to death, some are now likening Trump to the Reverend Jim Jones, the infamous cult leader of the San Francisco-based People’s Temple who fled the country amidst questions of corruption.
Jones relocated his flock to Guyana where he ruled like a mad king, and in 1978, carried out the mass murder of over 900 commune members, many of them children who were made to drink poisoned Kool-Aid.
Rep. Jackie Speier who was nearly killed by cult members when she was a congressional staffer on a trip to investigate human rights abuses, exploited the tragedy for political means when she went on CNN to liken Trump to the charismatic Jones.

According to Speier; “You look at Donald Trump, a charismatic leader, who was able to continue to talk in terms that appealed to those who were disaffected, disillusions and who were looking for something, much like those who became part of Jim Jones’ congregation, the Peoples Temple,”
“They were lost souls, and the only difference between Jim Jones and Donald Trump is the fact that we now have social media. So all these people can find themselves in ways that they couldn’t find themselves before,” she said.
But one thing that she conveniently left out is that the Reverend Jones was celebrated by the San Francisco Democrat establishment who treated him as though he walked on water.
Brian Stelter would never provide his viewers with that relevant bit of context but Jason Whitlock of The Blaze wasn’t about to let Speier get away with the outlandish propaganda.
In a blistering column published on Monday, Whitlock wrote of the Reverend Jones’ early days in Indianapolis where he built his congregation by melding “political Marxism with Christianity” and selling it to black people.

“By the time Jones and the Peoples Temple established their headquarters in San Francisco, Jones felt comfortable enough to fully unveil his true agenda, communism. He disavowed Christianity and the Bible. He argued the Bible was a weapon used to oppress black people and women. He preached that America was irredeemably racist and fascist.” wrote Whitlock.
He continued; “Jones became a major player in Democratic politics. He helped George Moscone win election as San Francisco’s mayor. Jones counseled Vice President Walter Mondale and first lady Rosalynn Carter. Jones befriended Kamala Harris mentor and lover Willie Brown. California Governor Jerry Brown said Jones was Martin Luther King Jr., Albert Einstein, Angela Davis, and Chinese communist revolutionary Chairman Mao rolled into one.”
“Jim Jones used the Black Lives Matter formula 50 years ago. When you refuse to learn from history, you repeat it.” according to Whitlock.
“Jones was a white liberal prescribing Utopian death for black people. In Guyana, he literally instructed his followers to use the Bible as toilet paper. Sixty-eight percent of the people who moved to Jonestown were black. His United States following was estimated to be 80 percent black.” He added.
Whitlock drove it home; “The new Peoples Temple is the BLMLGBTQ+DNC Alphabet Mafia. It’s a cult of atheist political activists who preach anti-American sentiment as a way of pushing Marxism.”
One would think that someone like Rep. Speier who took five bullets and nearly died on the tarmac would be honest about such history but like Rev. Jones, she is just another member of the corrupt San Francisco Democrat machine that worshipped him.
