We know Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is bad at math but in this instance she’s just lying. The dimwit Rep. says that almost 10 people were killed in the mild protests of January 6 at the Capitol. For an added bonus, she accused Republicans in Congress of plotting the “deadly insurrection” and laid the blame for the bloodshed on them.
This all starts with a bullshit article from Rolling Stone:

I’ll save you the trouble of reading this piece of crap. Rolling Stone cited 2 anonymous sources who claim they coordinated with Republicans, including Marjorie Taylor Greene, for the January 6 protests. What the article actually says is that these anonymous people may have talked to Republican members of Congress in regards to President Trump’s rally. It has nothing to do with breaching the Capitol or anything that went on after Trump told people to “go in peace.”
Even if it’s true, and it’s not, this is a half-eaten nothing burger in liberal outrage trash bin.
AOC also couldn’t be trouble with reading the article or else she probably wouldn’t have sent this tweet. Then again, she’s an idiot, so maybe should would have anyways:

So almost 10 people died on January 6 during the non-insurrection? That number keeps growing for these democratic party liars.
For the record, 4 people died on January 6: Unarmed Air Force vet Ashli Babbitt was murdered by a Capitol police officer and 3 others died of medical emergencies unrelated to any riots, insurrections, or terrorists attacks. In reality, Babbitt was the only one who actually died inside the Capitol building.
At the most liberal interpretation, “almost 10” is 7 or more, so clearly almost 10 people didn’t die. 4 did and 4 isn’t even almost 7, let alone almost 10.
AOC also gave the Capitol “insurrection” an upgrade by calling it a “terrorist attack.” That was some terrorist attack those unarmed tourists pulled off walking casually through the Capitol building, huh?
Even worse, AOC accuses members of Congress, her colleagues, of planning and executing this “terrorist attack.” Not only that but she also sees these Republicans as a threat to her life by being allowed in the Capitol.
AOC’s imagination has run wild with the events of January 6. She claimed she was almost killed by the protesters even though she was safely in another building far from the nonviolence. She also accused a capitol Police Officer, who was protecting her, of almost raping her. Now she says that almost 10 people were killed that day.
Obviously her delusions are escalating. Next she’ll claim she was almost killed 10 times and almost raped 10 times more. The great thing for her is this lie is infinitely scalable. She make up any number of fake atrocities and never hit a ceiling.
Actually the truly great thing for her is that the liberal media will never fact-check her ever-expanding lies about what happened on January 6.
