Liberals seriously need to get some new material. Everything is worse than Hitler with them and it’s really losing the shock impact they are going for. San Antonio Spurs head coach, Gegg Popovich, showed his liberal laziness in a rant about Columbus Day, claiming the great Italian explorer was actually worse than Hitler.
Popovich gave a press conference that probably should have been about basketball but for some reason turned into shit on Christopher Columbus tirade. Popovich praised Joe Biden for signing a proclamation recognizing “Indigenous People’s Day” but still had some anger over Columbus Day:

“I’m a little confused about our city and why it’s Indigenous People’s Day slash Columbus Day. Columbus? I mean, he initiated a New World genocide. That’s what he did. And beginning with him and what he set in motion, what followed, the annihilation of every Indigenous person in Hispaniola, which was Haiti and the Dominican Republic today. That’s what he did. He took slaves. He mutilated. He murdered. And they’re going to say ‘slash’ and honor?” Popovich said.
None of that is remotely true but since when do liberals let facts get in the way of their outrage?
Popovich then went after a school or school district in San Antonio for celebrating Columbus Day.
“What the hell was Alamo Heights thinking? It’s Columbus Day. That’s why they are off on Monday? Maybe there is something I am missing and I am ignorant but it makes me feel like they’re living in a phone booth. And they are educating our kids? Columbus Day? We’re going to honor that?” Popovich continued.
Maybe nothing. He’s as ignorant as they come and missing everything.
“It’s no knock on Italian Americans. That’s a silly argument. It’s like saying, ‘We should be proud of Hitler because we are German.’ It makes no sense. It’s about Columbus. It’s not about Italian Americans,” said Popovich.
The second a liberal busts out Hitler in an argument is the exact moment when that liberal realizes he or she is losing. This, is Gregg Popovich losing an argument with himself, which is quite an accomplishment.
“So, there are a lot of states that have come out and scratched Columbus Day and made it Indigenous Peoples’ Day. But in our city, are we that backward that we have school districts that do that? I am amazed. Just amazed,” Popovich finished.
What’s more amazing is that Popovich is this offended by Christopher Columbus and yet continues to live here. The reason why America exists is because Columbus opened exploration of the New World so if Popovich has a problem with all of the fictional genocide involved in that, he should hand all of his worldly possession over to indigenous people and move to Europe.
Anything less and he is just another irrational angry liberal dickhead trying to score some “whitey woke” points.
