During Donald Trump’s 4 years in office there were a lot of liberal media lies and, next to Russian collusion, the biggest one was that he was abusing the office of the presidency to enrich himself. Remember how many times the fake news industry was crying about the emoluments clause? Well, Forbes just announced Trump is no longer on the list of 400 richest people in America, which means he definitely didn’t exploit the White House to get richer.
Donald Trump was rich before he became president and he’s still rich, but slightly less so as The Hill reports:
Former President Trump has fallen off Forbes’s list of America’s richest people.
Trump’s fortune dropped to $2.5 billion, according to the Forbes 400 on Tuesday, which is $400 million short of the cutoff needed to make the list.
This is the first time in 25 years Trump has not been on Forbes 400, with him on the top half of the list from 1997 to 2016 until he became president.
In April, Forbes’s billionaires list showed Trump dropped 300 spots and his fortune decreased by more than $1 billion during his presidency.
So being President cost Trump a billion dollars? How can this be? The liberal media pushed the absurd notion that the billionaire became president so he could get rich. I, for one am, shocked that the otherwise reliable fake news industry got this one wrong.
The actual headline here should be: “First Politician In U.S. History Becomes Poorer In Office” or “First Honest Politician In U.S. History.”
Career politician Joe Biden managed to build a nice $7 million fortune while serving as vice president. Career communist Bernie Sanders, who has never had a job in his life, has 3 mansions.
But it’s the democrats in the White House who really know how to turn a presidency into dollars.
The Clintons never had anything before they moved into the White House and when they left, they were in debt from fighting Bill’s various sexual assault problems. Yet within a decade they were worth $30 million. The only one of them who worked in those years was Hillary who drew a Senator’s and Secretary of State’s salary, which certainly doesn’t explain their massive windfall.
Barack Obama also never worked a day in his life and also entered the White House with nothing. Him and his Sasquatch wife are now worth $70 million. If that doesn’t make you sick, you have a stronger stomach than me.
Obama went from making $400,000 a year as president to being worth $70 billion in 4 years, without doing a single thing to earn it. If that isn’t a red flag, I don’t know what is.
The thing is, unlike Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, Trump actually earned his wealth. He also donated his presidential salary because he didn’t need it. The liberal media looks at Clinton and Obama gaining unearned and unexplainable wealth and says nothing but accuses Trump of corruption when he actually lost money in and out of office.
And with that, it’s official, every single thing the fake news said about Trump is officially debunked. There won’t be any retractions or apologies because that ain’t their style. Besides, they can’t be fake news if they report the truth.
