Krysten Sinema is a democratic Senator who represents the interests of the people of her state rather that the whacko leftist agenda of her party. Along with Joe Manchin, Sinema has stood up to Joe Biden’s reckless spending and attempt to gain federal control of elections and as such, she is now hated by democrats more than they despise Donald Trump. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez even demanded that Chuck Schumer make life as difficult as possible for Sinema.
On Tuesday night, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer was dragging his ass on some seriously unimportant procedural votes and Krysten Sinema was sick of it:

AOC said she was taking a break from Twitter because it left her feeling “anxious” and “People kind of fight and gossip and all this other stuff so much, but — and there’s a lot of negative, negativity on there.” After a 12-hour hiatus, AOC overcame her anxiety and kind of picked a fight with Sinema with plenty of negativity:
Actually he should continue to make their lives as difficult as possible and treat them the way they treat, say, public housing residents. Or parents who rely on CTC. When they improve, maybe process can improve too.

AOC believes it is the duty of Chuck Schumer to f*ck with democrats that don’t tow the party line and she even has some ideas on how:
Cancel vacation. Vote on weekends. Vote for hours. Vote last minute. Call votes when Senators are courting billionaires at fundraisers. They may get apoplectic, but it’s nothing compared to the people they’re forcing to sleep without heat in winter, or losing the right to vote.

Nobody likes vacations and sucking up to billionaires more than Chuck Schumer, but here’s the real problem with him following AOC’s demand: There’s a 50/50 split in the Senate and if Schumer does all this shit to punish Sinema and Manchin, they could simply not show up and the democrats will never pass a thing. There’s no rule that says Senators have to show up for a vote and in fact many of them miss votes all the time.
There are other ways Schumer could make life difficult for Sinema though:
Schumer could make Sinema share an office with Elizabeth Warren.
Chuck could require all first-term Senators to give Bernie Sanders a sponge bath.
Instead of stripping Sinema of committee assignments, Schumer could put her on a bunch of committees with Cory Booker.
Schumer could pipe Kamala Harris cackling on an endless loop into the Senate Chamber.
But most of all, rather than giving floor speeches, Schumer could show Tic Tok videos of AOC pontificating and dancing for hours.
Democrats are doing everything they can to run Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema out of the party, which is an odd strategy since they don’t have any Senators to spare. It’s even weirder given that they will lose majorities in the Senate and House in November so if they want to pass anything it has to be in the next several months.
