Democrat Rep. Karen Bass has voted 100% of the time against the 2nd Amendment and doesn’t feel like any of us should be allowed to own guns. That’s why the news that she had guns stolen from her house comes as such a surprise. Okay, it’s not all that shocking that a democrat is a raging hypocrite, but there’s still plenty of questions here.
Because the city isn’t already awful enough, Bass is running for mayor of Los Angeles. Fox LA reports that on Friday, her house was burglarized. She said the thief made off with 2 firearms that she described as being “properly secured.” Obviously they weren’t very secured if someone was able to take them.
“Last night, I came home and discovered that my house had been broken into and burglarized,” said Bass.
In a statement she said the burglar didn’t take anything else from her home despite her having lots of cash, electronics, jewelry, and other valuables laying around.
The guns were legally owned by Bass who said she bought them years ago for personal protections. That seems weird since democrats keep saying that guns are only for hunting and can’t possibly be used in a self-defense situation.
Police got a picture of the suspect described as a “Hispanic male weighing 200 lbs, is 5’9 ft, wearing dark clothes and a surgical mask and a blue baseball cap with a white logo on it and black Asics sneakers.”
The first question that jumps out is, why would this dude break into Bass’ house and only steal two guns when there was so much easily-transported valuables laying about? Clearly the thief knew Bass had the guns and that was the sole purpose of his break-in. Was it her gardener or some other worker she regularly had over? Even better, did she clue someone in on the location of her guns so she could twist it into a campaign asset: “Even I’m the victim of crime but if you elect me mayor, I’ll make Los Angeles safe again.” (MLASA)
Another possibly scenario is that she sold the guns to some gangbangers and then reported them “stolen” because she knows they will eventually show up at a crime scene. The poor guy in the photo could just be some hard-working illegal alien who was there to trim her hedges.
The second thing I’d like to know is, why did the LAPD bother responding to this and put out an alert? Thanks to Soros-funded LA DA George Gascon, burglary isn’t even a crime any more. On the off-chance the cops nab this perp, he will be set free with no charges.
The biggest question however is, why did anti-gun Karen Bass have guns in the first place? The answer is the most leftist thing one could imagine. Back in the 70s, Bass joined Venceremos Brigade, a communist Cuban revolutionary group. She went to Cuba to train in guerrilla warfare and part of that training was using firearms. Possibly the same ones that were stolen from her house.
The answer to why gun control nut Karen Bass had guns is because she was training to overthrow the the U.S. Government. But hey, at least she didn’t walk around the Capitol with a MAGA hat so she’s not officially an insurrectionist.
