OKLAHOMA CITY —The Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum welcomed visitors back inside after being closed for almost three months because of the coronavirus pandemic.
To make sure people stay safe, the memorial and museum implemented some noticeable changes, including visitors being required to wear face masks. Visitors who don’t have a face mask will be given one as part of the effort to limit the spread of COVID-19.
According to police, the shooting victim died shortly after officers responded. The Oklahoma City Police Department's homicide unit has been called to the scene.
Police said they have a description of the suspect, but they are not ready to release that information.
A family friend told KOCO 5 that the victim and the suspect knew each other. She also said the two were involved in some kind of argument before shots were fired.
