Hunter Biden’s laptop isn’t just a smoking gun, it’s an entire arsenal of smoking guns that implicates him and Papa Joe in numerous fraud and corruption schemes from Ukraine to China. The liberal media has done their best to ignore the story, but the feds have certainly been paying attention. The FBI is reportedly investigating what will be the worst thing to happen to the democratic party since Republicans took their slaves away. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is one of the few democrats to recognize how big this is, so he’s demanding that the FBI immediately stop the investigation.
Schumer and fellow democrat Senator Ron Wyden sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray telling him to back off:
We write regarding press reports concerning materials allegedly describing activities by Hunter Biden, and found on a laptop at a Delaware repair shop. We are deeply concerned about the possibility that in response to these reports the Trump administration will take actions before Election Day that would seek to damage the Democratic presidential candidate and undermine the rule of law.
Democrats celebrate Opposite Day 365 times a year so it’s undermining the rule of law to investigate apparent crimes and corruption.
Despite legitimate concerns about the origin and credibility of this information, President Trump and Republican Members of Congress have seized on the story and are pressuring law enforcement to publicly act to advance their partisan interests. President Trump himself stated that “[w]e’ve got to get the Attorney General to act and to act fast,” pushing for a public investigation of the former Vice President and his son just two weeks before the election.
Hunter took the laptop to a Delaware computer repair shop and abandoned it. The emails that implicate him and his daddy have been verified by people on the email chains. There are absolutely no questions about the origin and credibility.
From there the letter tries to claim that all of this is Russian disinformation, something both Director Wray and Director of National lIntelligence John Ratcliffe have said is 100% untrue.
And finally, Chuck the Clown warns that any investigation into the Biden’s will make our country less safe and destroy democracy:
The FBI has a critical role to play in safeguarding our elections and, in partnership with the intelligence community, is responsible for exposing and combating both foreign cyber and influence efforts targeting our electoral process. In carrying out this critical national security mission, law enforcement’s handling of this matter must be above politics and beyond reproach. We therefore urge you to resist pressure from President Trump and other partisan actors to take any actions intended to benefit President Trump politically on the eve of the election. Succumbing to such pressure would deeply undermine our national security interests and the credibility of law enforcement, and could have devastating consequences for the resiliency of our democracy.
U.S. Senators demanding that the FBI stop an investigation that will be bad for their political party is a pretty good example of destroying democracy. It violates the Constitutional separation of powers when the lawmakers try to tell the executive branch how to enforce the law. I’m sure Chuck will realize this and be terribly embarrassed.
What this letter really says is that the democrats realize they have nominated a corrupt scumbag who can’t possibly win. And even if by some miracle Biden was elected, he’d immediately be impeached because he’s guilty of what the democrats falsely accused President Trump of. You can smell the desperation in Schumer’s inappropriate demand.
