NBA owner owner Mark Cuban has no problem doing business with genocidal communist China, but when it comes to American freedom he draws the line. The insufferable billion has banned the playing of the National Anthem before all Dallas Mavericks home games. If his team was playing a game in China and he showed this kind of disrespect for their national anthem, he would be jailed and disappeared, but the U.S. is the country he has a problem with.
ESPN reports Cuban cuing up the ban:
The Dallas Mavericks have stopped playing the national anthem before home games at the direction of owner Mark Cuban, he confirmed to ESPN on Tuesday.
The Mavericks do not plan to resume the tradition to play the national anthem before games in the future.
Cuban, who declined further comment, made the decision after consulting with NBA commissioner Adam Silver. The Mavericks did not announce the change in policy, but the national anthem has not been played before any of their 13 preseason and regular-season games at the American Airlines Center this season.
No players, coaches or staffers from other teams have mentioned the change, according to a team source.
The first rule of America Haters Club is don’t talk about America Haters Club.
ESPN also reports that Cuban used to oppose professional athletes kneeling during the National Anthem but then changed his mind on it:
“This is America, and I’m proud of people who speak out civilly. That’s who we are as a country. I’ll be standing there with my hand over my heart. I think the players will be [standing]. I expect them to be,” said Cuban in 2017.
Three years later, as the Black Lives Matter movement continued to grow, Cuban explained what changed his mindset.
“I think we’ve learned a lot since 2017. I think we’ve evolved as a country. And this is really a unique point in time where we can grow as a society, we can grow as a country and become far more inclusive and become far more aware of the challenges that minority communities go through,” Cuban said.
Disrespecting the flag and hating the country that gave him everything isn’t an evolution, it’s a de-evolution.
“So I’ll stand in unison with our players, whatever they choose to do. But again, when our players in the NBA do what’s in their heart, when they do what they feel represents who they are and look to move this country forward when it comes to race relationships, I think that’s a beautiful thing and I’ll be proud of them,” said Cuban.
Is there anything more beautiful than overprivileged athletes hating a country where they get paid millions of dollars to toss a ball into a hole? Mark Cuban doesn’t think so.
Another thing Cuban thinks is beautiful is making money off of communist China. Check out this interview he did with Megyn Kelly last October:
When asked why the NBA won’t condemn China’s human rights violations and continues to do business with the communists, Cuban said, “I personally put a priority on domestic issues. I’m against human rights violations around the world.”
“Including the ones in China?” Kelly inquired.
“China is not the only country with human rights violations,” Cuban shot back.
“Including China, Mark?” Kelly pressed.
“Any human rights violations anywhere are wrong,” said Cuban.
“Why would the NBA take $500 million dollars-plus from a country that is engaging in ethnic cleansing?” Kelly asked.
“So basically, you’re saying nobody should do business with China ever,” Cuban said defensively.
“Why won’t you just answer my question?” Kelly asked.
“Because they are a customer. They are a customer of ours, and guess what, Megyn? I’m OK with doing business with China. And so we have to pick our battles. I wish we could solve all the world’s problems. But we can’t,” said Cuban.
And the battle he picked, which is the one that won’t cost him millions of commie dollars, is to tell the United States of America to go f*ck itself.
I hope Cuban’s move to ban the National Anthem costs him money too. Texans should boycott the Dallas Mavericks. Don’t go to the games. Don’t buy merchandize. Don’t watch them on TV. Any dollar spent on the Mavericks goes to support an America-hating communist sympathizer, so spend your money somewhere else.
