In the United States the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty and definitely innocent after an acquittal. Illegitimate president Joe Biden is both confused and divisive so he has declared President Trump guilty in his sham impeachment trial despite the acquittal. Biden’s message of unity is that political opponents should demonized and attacked.
For the second time in about a year, House democrats (plus a few traitor Republicans) impeached President Trump on made-up charges with zero evidence. This time around, they relied on deceptively edited video and doctored social media posts to make their case. For the second time in a about a year, Trump was acquitted of the bullshit charges in a Senate trial making him the all-time champ in beating partisan coup attempts.
Joe Biden claims he’s all about the unity, but his message regarding Trump’s acquittal is anything but. Claim it’s time to, “defend the truth and to defeat the lies” Biden’s statement starts out with a lie:
It was nearly two weeks ago that Jill and I paid our respects to Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick, who laid in honor in the Rotunda after losing his life protecting the Capitol from a riotous, violent mob on January 6, 2021.
Fact check: Biden’s own investigators cannot find any evidence that officer Sicknick died from being attacked at the Capitol. He died of a pre-existing medical condition after leaving the Capitol.
Since Biden started this statement with a lie, he thought he should keep the bullshit flowing:
Today, 57 Senators – including a record 7 Republicans – voted to find former President Trump guilty for inciting that deadly insurrection on our very democracy. The Senate vote followed the bipartisan vote to impeach him by the House of Representatives. While the final vote did not lead to a conviction, the substance of the charge is not in dispute.
Here’s the way a trial works in the United States: A person is charged and then is allowed to answer those charges. If that person is found not guilty, that means the charges were unfounded. Since President Trump was acquitted, that means the charges against him are not only disputed, but complete and utter garbage.
Biden then included a shoutout to everyone who helped him steal the White House:
I’m thinking of those who demonstrated the courage to protect the integrity of our democracy – Democrats and Republicans, election officials and judges, elected representatives and poll workers – before and after the election.
And despite saying we have a robust democracy, Biden admits it’s pretty weak:
This sad chapter in our history has reminded us that democracy is fragile. That it must always be defended. That we must be ever vigilant. That violence and extremism has no place in America. And that each of us has a duty and responsibility as Americans, and especially as leaders, to defend the truth and to defeat the lies.
Biden could start defending the truth and defeating the lies by correcting the lies he issued in this statement, but he doesn’t mean going after his own bullshit. He’s actually saying that “we” have a duty to protect his lies and defeat the actual truth.
Finally, Biden says we have to stop this war that he and the democrats started:
That is how we end this uncivil war and heal the very soul of our nation. That is the task ahead. And it’s a task we must undertake together. As the United States of America.
Biden ran on a platform that he was going to “heal the soul of our nation” and promised he would unify the country. Now that he’s stolen the White House, he’s putting it all on us.
Is anyone counting how many of Biden’s campaign promises he’s had to walk back on? On my scorecard I have “all of them” and he’s only been in office for 3 weeks.
