The liberal media hasn’t been great at predicting coups and insurrections, but that doesn’t stop them from spouting off. They told us that Trump supporters were going to take over the Capitol on March 5 and when that didn’t happen they switched the date to March 20. Obviously that never happened either, but they are totally serious that Trump is going to stage a coup in August.
Those poor “journalists” in the liberal media have nothing to write about because of the rules against reporting on Biden so they go back to doing what they do best: making up shit about Trump. Here’s New York Times writer Maggie Haberman showing that Trump Derangement Syndrome, unlike COVID-19, is still a serious issue:

This is actually a fake news twofer: you got the NYT saying Trump thinks he’ll be president again in August on top of a CNN piece about how QAnon Trump supporters believe there will be a coup to reinstate him.
Of course, these are 2 “news” sources that have constantly been wrong in reporting things that people allegedly heard Trump say so maybe these anonymous sources should be taken with a grain of salt the size of New York. There’s an almost zero percent chance that people close to Donald Trump secretly confide in Maggie Haberman or anyone at the NYT.

According to a report? Do they mean that made up tweet from Maggie Haberman? This is what qualifies as a trusted source in the liberal media these days.

Trump can’t even get reinstated on Twitter or Facebook but he’s totally going to stage a coup in August and get reinstated as President of the United States. Sounds plausible. Not!
At least the liberal media has found something to pretend to freak out about for the next couple of months instead of reporting on Biden’s God awful presidency. When this much-hyped coup fails to materialize in August the fake news industry will be back to square one with nothing to write about. Either that or they’ll just move the coup date to November.
