Clearly the chickens of The View have no idea how extortion works. Co-hosts Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg threatened a sex strike if Roe v. Wade, the SCOTUS ruling that legalized abortion, is overturned. With stakes like that, even supporters of abortion will want this thing overturned.
This week some liberal clerk leaked a Supreme Court draft decision that indicates Roe v. Wade is on the verge of extinction. The resulting freak-out has been something to behold and liberals everywhere are coming up with ways to fight back from packing the court to murdering Justices. The View’s Joy Behar has a different plan:
“Women in the world have conducted sex strikes in history. In 2003, a sex strike helped to end Liberia’s brutal civil war and the woman who started it was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. In 2009, Kenyan women enforced a sex ban until political infighting ceased. Within one week, there was a stable government. We have more power than we think we have and some of it could be in the bedroom,” said Behar.
It seems highly unlikely that women of these male-dominated cultures affected social change with sex strikes. It’s perfectly legal in Liberia and Kenya for a husband to kill his wife for withholding sex and rape is not something that is frowned upon either.
“And what a perfect weapon and method for the topic we’re talking about,” added co-host Sara Haines.
Whoopi Goldberg also indicated she was on board to use sex as a weapon:
“You don’t have to have an abortion. I don’t have to have an abortion. No one does, but if someone needs one, why shouldn’t they be able to get it? And, otherwise, men, this is going to come after you in some weird way too,” said Goldberg.
At least Whoopi acknowledges that sex with her is weird. I would use the word horrifying but, whatever.
Also, if nobody has to have an abortion, as Goldberg states, then nobody needs one either. That’s what those words mean. And for the record, Whoopi Goldberg has claimed that she had 7 abortions before the age of 25.
Equally as stupid is the idea that Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg withholding sex is a punishment. Sex with them is the punishment. Ask Ted Danson. He’s never been the same after banging Whoopi.
In fact, all the who would participate in a Roe v. Wade sex strike are the most unfair*ckable collection of lesbians, uggos, and fatties this country has to offer. On top of which, the women who would do this wouldn’t likely sleep with conservative pro-life men and vice versa. The only men getting punished by something like this are milquetoast beta males, who probably don’t get laid anyways.
A better ploy would be to threaten to start doing the show in the nude. The only problem with that is people can change the channel.
The major takeaway here is that these women on The View, who like to think of themselves as empowered and self-reliant, can’t think of anything other than wielding their vaginas as weapons. If that’s all they got, they really are the weaker sex.
