OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH)--Oklahoma City police responded to an assault call on Sunday just before 7:15 a.m. at a house near Northeast 20th and North Lottie Avenue.
Police say that 19-year-old Christopher Dawson assaulted his friend after she would not give his other friend a ride home because she did not know him.
When his friend was denied a ride, Dawson went into the home and came out with a long gun, believed to be an AK-47 by the victim, and started to hit her windshield with the gun.
Dawson then turned the gun on the victim and threatened to kill her.
The victim then tried to call the police, but Dawson took her iPhone and threw it on the ground, causing it to shatter.
Dawson then started to punch the victim in the head.
Dawson then went into the home before another person at the house was able to get him out when the police got there.
Dawson was taken to Oklahoma County Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, interrupting an emergency phone call, and malicious injury to property.
