Remember when putting kids in cages was bad? Freaking out over pictures of illegal alien kids in cages built by Obama and photographed during his reign of uselessness, liberals falsely accused President Trump of perpetrating this inhuman crime. Joe Biden, who was part of the Obama administration that put kids in cages, picked up on the lie and accused Trump of doing it throughout the campaign. Now that he’s stolen the White House, Biden is making putting kids in cages cool again by putting kids in cages.
After 4 years of fake outrage against Trump, CNN reports that caging children is once again acceptable:
The Biden administration is opening an overflow facility for unaccompanied migrant children apprehended at the US-Mexico border, the federal agency tasked with the children’s care told CNN in a statement.
The Health and Human Services Department will reopen a facility in Carrizo Springs, Texas, that can accommodate about 700 children and can be expanded if necessary.
The reopening of the facility comes amid an increase in apprehensions of unaccompanied children on the Southwest border, fueled in part by deteriorating conditions in Latin America and a perceived possible relaxation of enforcement, and reduced capacity limits at other facilities due to Covid-19.
See, if you call it an “overflow facility” it doesn’t sound as bad as saying Biden is putting kids in cages, which is exactly what he’s doing. CNN is under contract to soften the blow of anything negative the Biden administration does.
And speaking of gaslighting:
“President Biden has been very clear about restoring compassion and order to our immigration system,” said a senior administration official.
See, when Trump wasn’t putting kids in cages, he was a racist tyrant, but now that Biden is putting kids in cages, he’s restoring compassion to our immigration system.
Also, is it weird that CNN wouldn’t name the Biden administration official who told that lie?
To drive home the idea that putting cages is cool again, Biden made these remarks as he signed even more executive actions on immigration:

Again with the index cards. What kind of brain-dead slug can’t articulate a simple lie like this without reading it off of flash cards? The answer: Joe Biden.
“I’m not making new law. I’m eliminating bad policy. What I’m doing is taking on the issues that, 99 percent were that, that the last President of the United States issued executive orders I thought were very counterproductive to our security, counterproductive to who we are as a country, particularly in the area of immigration,” said Biden.
But I thought putting kids in cages, even though Obama not Trump did it, was bad policy. Apparently putting kids in cages is now good policy.
You may have noticed that there are no fainting spells or pearl clutching from liberals over this. Things are only bad and/or outrageous when Republicans do them, even if they didn’t do them.
