It would be impossible for a competent president to spin the grim economic news of surging inflation so you know Joe Biden wasn’t up to the task. With consumer prices rising faster than they have in 3 decades, the illegitimate president says it shouldn’t matter because he sent everyone a check fo $1,400 8 months ago.
Biden was in Baltimore on Wednesday trying to sell his D.O.A. Build Back Better socialist spending plan. He began talking about inflation but dismissed it because, according to him, everyone is so rich now they can all absorb the added expense:
“The irony is, people have more money now. Because of the first labment mayda jer a piece of legen legislation I passed. They all got jecks for $1,400. They got checks for a whole range of things,” said Biden.
Well no, he didn’t give us a damn thing. That was our money. Even so, that was way back at the beginning of the year. How many people are still sitting on that $1,400? That money was spent a long time ago and isn’t helping people beat the raging inflation caused by Biden’s incompetency.
Also, that’s not irony. The Alanis Moressette out front should have told him that.
Biden added that those “jecks” he sent out, “changed people’s lives.”
If your life can be transformed by $1,400 it was shit to begin with and is still shit and clearly not changed one bit.
Knowing that the friendly liberal media will never hold him accountable, he continued to play loose with the facts.
“I come from Delaware, just across the line up here, and you know we have more corporations in Delaware than every other nation in the state combined so I understand big business,” said Biden.
That doesn’t actually make sense but what he’s trying to say is that there are more corporations in Delaware than in the rest of the United States. According to Statista, New York and California are tied for having the most corporations, followed closely by Texas. Delaware is in a 4-way tie for 30th on the list. Clearly Joe Biden doesn’t understand big business the way he thinks he does.
Biden also took a shot at himself without realizing it.
“Did you ever think you’d be paying this much for a gallon of gas?” Biden asked.
Well yeah, we did. Everyone who was pay attention when Biden destroyed America’s energy independence knew it would result in higher gas prices. He seems to be the only one surprised by this.
Ultimately, Biden blamed inflation on us:
“Because of the strength of our economic recovery, American families have been able to buy more products. And – but guess what? They’re not going out to dinner and lunch, and going to local bars because of Covid. So what are they doing? They’re staying home and ordering online or buying product. Well, what more people with money buying product and less product to buy, what happens? The supply chain’s the reason. The answer is you guys, and I’ll get to that in a minute, but what happens? Prices go up,” Bien said.
So Biden gave us $1,400 “jecks” and we’re spending that money so it’s our fault that consumer prices are the highest they’ve been in 30 years?
Once again, Biden has taken a shot at himself without realizing it. While he’s wrong that this is our fault he’s right that printing money in massive government spending waste is the cause of inflation.
And the actual irony here is that he made this point while trying to push another massive government spending plan.
