When Donald Trump took office, The Washington Post changed their motto to “Democracy Dies in Darkness” and vowed to expose his corruption. Unfortunately for the liberal rag, all they got was fake news. Now that there’s a legitimately corrupt guy in the White House, all the WaPo can do is write gushing pieces about Joe Biden ordering cheeseburgers, so maybe now democracy dies from cholesterol.

Speaking of which, here’s some of that article that is behind a paywall, but I lifted from another source:
Brittany Spaddy has never seen “The American President,” the 1995 rom-com written by Aaron Sorkin, but she basically lived out one of the film’s most memorable scenes, the one in which a flower shop employee collapses when the president of the United States walks in and tries to order roses.
Spaddy was called into work at Ghostburger on Tuesday, her day off, ostensibly because a VIP was coming to the D.C. burger joint and the place would need extra employees to handle the crowd. But the real agenda, said Josh Phillips, co-founder of Ghostburger, was that the owners wanted Spaddy to be there when President Biden called to place an order. The White House had made the arrangements the day before with Phillips and his wife and co-founder, Kelly.
“She earned that call,” Phillips said about Spaddy, who handles practically everything in the front of the house at Ghostburger, one of the few feel-good stories of the pandemic.
No raise, just “rewarded” by having to talk to Joe Biden on the phone. That’s kind of like winning a donkey punch to the back of the head.
This was such a contrived piece of propaganda that Biden ‘s people made a video:

Notice how they don’t show Joe actually dialing the phone? I imagine that is something beyond his abilities at this point. Also, when Biden begins to order, he hesitates and looks down at some notes, before ordering the bacon cheeseburger. This guy is so far gone, he needs a cheat sheet to order lunch.
While this set-up video was supposed to show the awe in wonderment of a woman receiving the gift of a Joe Biden phone call, Brittany struggled to look like she gave a shit. Maybe it’s because Joe called her “Bernie.” Seriously, watch the video again, he says “Hi, Bernie.”
The video did manage to capture Kamala cackling like a moron over cheeseburgers, so it did have a bit of authenticity. Just so you know how fake this is, Biden ordered a single cheeseburger on the phone and yet 2 cheeseburgers showed up.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden has destroyed the country and is embroiled in multiple scandals, but The Washington Post is laser-focused on his staged lunch antics.
